How to Cure Gastritis Permanently | Grocare®

There are two herbal medicines by Grocare which help in gastritis treatment: Acidim and Xembran.

Acidim helps balance the pH of the entire intestinal systems & abdomen seamlessly.

Xembran is a bacteriostatic to eliminate H pylori and other harmful bacteria from the body.

ACIDIM regularizes the amount of acid in the stomach. Thus, digestion is completed. ACIDIM also increases gastric motility, thus allowing digested food to get expelled from the stomach. Hence, food doesn’t ferment and release gas, the stomach is empty and the discomfort ends. Acidim also helps in Herxheimer reactions caused when killing H pylori and other bad bacteria releases toxins.

XEMBRAN stops growth as well as kills H. pylori in the stomach and regulates gut microflora. Xembran works along with the body’s defense mechanism to eliminate the harmful bacteria and restores gut health. Acidim and Xembran together help in gastritis treatment and also help to repair and restore the stomach lining without any side effects.

Usually medical practitioners prescribe Proton pump inhibitors and antibiotics as the first line of treatment in gastritis. However the US FDA has issued several announcements that PPIs should not be consumed for over 14 days thrice a year as they may cause osteoporosis and other side effects. You can read this safety announcement here: https://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/ucm213206.htm

Regarding Antibiotics for bacterial issues: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4635158/ – This study shows that with time antibiotics are becoming ineffective at eradicating the bacteria. Moreover, there are also many cases that report recurring symptoms after antibiotic treatment of H pylori and their tests showing negative results.

What is Gastritis?

Gastritis affects an alarmingly large number of people. This is largely due to its multiple causes ranging from stress to infection, to a poor diet, and even pharmaceutical medicine.

Gastritis is the irritation of the stomach lining that can lead to stomach pain, as well as ulcers and other health complications. It can occur as a one-time or infrequent irritation, or become chronic if the underlying causes of gastritis are not addressed.

What are the Symptoms of Gastritis?

Sometimes gastritis will cause no symptoms at all, even when the underlying health concerns that can lead to the disease are still present. When there is a flare-up gastritis can cause:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Upset stomach
  • Hiccups
  • Burping
  • Belching
  • Black, tar-like stool
  • Nausea
  • Bloating
  • Vomiting
  • Loss of Appetite
  • Heartburn

When gastritis is left unchecked, it can also lead to:

  • Autoimmune disease
  • Stomach ulcers
  • Stomach tumors
  • Pernicious Anemia

What Causes Gastritis?

Gastritis is caused by a few different culprits:

  • Medicines, particularly non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, called NSAIDs, have been linked to gastrointestinal disease. Painkillers like Advil, Motrin, and Aleve can also negatively affect the stomach lining, leading to irritation, and swelling.
  • The use of histamine blockers or proton pump inhibitors or PPIs, for example, omeprazole (Prilosec, Prilosec OTC), omeprazole (Prilosec, Prilosec OTC), rabeprazole (Aciphex), rabeprazole (Aciphex), esomeprazole (Nexium), and Zegerid, a rapid release form of omeprazole.
  • Infection with pylori, a harmful gut bacteria.

  • Viral or bacterial infections.
  • An overproduction of stomach acid (bile reflux).
  • The consumption of alcohol.
  • A poor diet which can lead to leaky-gut syndrome and the wearing of the intestinal lining.
  • Constant stress which is known to cause inflammation of the gut and an increase in gastric acid.
  • Smoking, which alters the gut flora and lining.
  • Autoimmune disorders like Crohn’s disease.
  • Over the counter ant-acids.

FOODS THAT CAN AGGRAVATE GASTRITIS

Gastritis is not only caused, in part, by what we eat, but can be worsened by the foods we choose. These include:

  • Alcohol
  • High fat foods
  • Processed foods
  • Caffeinated and carbonated drinks
  • Foods that contain high levels of citric acid like pineapple, or grapefruit
  • Hot or overly spicy foods
  • Lack of foods containing B12 (such as salmon, fortified cereals, or soy). Vegetarians and vegans are often lacking in B12 since they don’t not eat meat where most of the population gets their B12 vitamins. A bi-weekly supplement of at least 2000 mg can help resolve this issue.

FOODS THAT CAN HELP STOP H. PYLORI – ONE CAUSE OF GASTRITIS

Conversely, there are foods you can eat to help stop the discomfort of gastritis, and that can even help the condition to reverse by stopping one of its causes – the growth of H. pylori. A diet rich in fiber, and foods that contain flavonoids can greatly reduce the incidence of gastritis, including:

  • Green tea
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Celery
  • Kale
  • Broccoli
  • Parsley
  • Thyme
  • Berries
  • Legumes

You can also practice good food washing techniques to make sure you are not exposing your body unnecessarily to harmful bacteria that can cause

How is Gastritis Diagnosed?

If you have any of the symptoms of gastritis, you can seek a diagnosis from your doctor. They will use one of the following diagnostic tools or a combination to find out if you have a gastric disease:

  • Physician interview – Your doctor may simply ask you if you have a history of taking NSAIDs or pain relievers to find out if this could be contributing to your symptoms of gastritis.
  • Upper endoscopy – this method uses a tiny camera mounted to the end of a tube that is inserted into the mouth, and then down into the stomach. Your doctor is looking for inflammation (redness and swelling) of the stomach lining.
  • Biopsy – With this method, your doctor will take a tiny sample of your stomach lining to be sent to a laboratory for further study.
  • Blood tests – Doctors will commonly order blood tests to check the red blood cell count to see if you have anemia, or an H. pylori infection – both of which can indicate causes of gastritis.
  • Stool (fecal matter) test – this method is used to determine if there is any blood in your stool which can be caused from an inflamed or infected stomach lining, or intestinal tract.

How is Gastritis Normally Treated?

Oddly, gastritis is often treated with some of the very medicines that can cause it.

ANTACIDS

Antacids are often used to reduce the acid in your stomach, with the thought that this will resolve the gastritis. This does not address the damage to the stomach lining that has often already been caused. Antacids also only act to mask the symptoms. While they can provide temporary relief, they can make the problem of gastritis more pronounced over time, and do nothing to address the underlying issues, such as poor gut health, bacterial infections, etc.

H2 BLOCKERS

When antacids don’t work, doctors will often then resort to medicines called H2 blockers, like ranitidine (Zantac), famotidine (Pepcid and Pepcid AC), nizatidine (Axide), and cimetidine (Tagamet). These medicines also reduce the production of acid in the stomach, yet fail to address the underlying cause or causes of gastritis. H2 blockers can also cause numerous unpleasant side effects.

PROTON PUMP INHIBITORS (PPIS)

When these medicines don’t work, allopathic medicine usually then resorts to using a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) such as lansoprazole or omeprazole. These medicines also work on the cells of the stomach to reduce the production of acid.

Proton Pump Inhibitors can also cause the body to have difficulty absorbing much-needed nutrients, as well as severe disease ranging from heart attacks to kidney disease.

DO YOU NOTICE A TREND HERE?

Every single one of the ‘treatments’ for gastritis used by traditional, allopathic medicine only act to reduce stomach acid. What is NOT corrected by the use of these medicines is the body’s pH balance, which can lead to inflammation of the digestive system and intestinal tract, bacterial infections such as H. Pylori, and other harmful bacteria that are often present in people who have an imbalance of gut flora.

These medicines also do not address the ability for food to move through the body properly so that nutrients can be assimilated, and waste can be removed as fast as possible. When food sits in our stomachs or intestines too long, our bodies have no choice but to reabsorb toxins that were meant to be expelled.

Yes, allopathic medicines like antacids, and PPIs can relieve pain and discomfort, and to reduce stomach acid, but this alone will not cure most cases of gastritis. These medicines can also cause mild to severe side effects, and even severe health concerns.

Gastritis Treatment | Gastritis medicine

Grocare believes in a holistic, natural form of full-body care that not only stops gastritis, but supports digestive and gut health overall.

If you don’t address the environmental toxins, poor quality food, lack of sleep, and stress, which all lead to a gastritis incident, it will likely recur. If you don’t address intestinal health and work to recreate a healthy micro-biota, allopathic medicines will do nothing more than provide temporary relief, as they never address the underlying, root cause of the health issue someone is facing.

How to Cure Gastritis Permanently

To cure Gastritis Permanently, is a two step approach. First one needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle – eat wholesome home made foods which are easy to digest. Second is to take the right medicines

to balance the pH combat the h pylori bacteria and other pathogens in the gut to make it healthy again. Xembran and acidim together are the best medicine for gastritis which have over 85% results.

IMPROVE YOUR DIET

It is estimated that every single chronic disease has a root in an over-active inflammatory response in the body. Thus by eating more fruits, vegetables, legumes, non-processed grains, sprouts, and nuts, we can reduce this over-active inflammatory response, and also reduce gastritis.

LOWER STRESS

Stress has been linked in a myriad of scientific studies to poor immunity, stomach ailments, leaky gut, and a number of other gastrointestinal diseases.

A stress-free, healthy stomach has a built0in barrier that prevents stomach acid from making contact with the stomach wall tissue. Thousands of glands and cells in the stomach lining are constantly creating mucus to protect it.

In gastritis, stomach ulcers and related problems, it is this mucus barrier that is compromised. When we are stressed we create more stomach acid that can cause severe damage of the stomach wall.  Sometimes the mucus barrier may be normal but the stomach acid is copious or highly acidic and the mucus barrier just cannot cope.

REMOVE TOXINS

Toxic build up in the intestines, can cause acute gastritis. This is the body’s way of saying ‘HELP!’ I’ve just eaten or absorbed something that I shouldn’t have.

By reducing toxic build up in the body that comes from eating highly overly-spicy foods, processed foods, genetically modified foods, pesticides, herbicides, lead, arsenic, mercury, BPAs, and more, it is good to follow a sound detox program.

Some simple ways to help the body detoxify naturally are to increase the consumption of pure water, and occasionally drink green tea instead of coffee.

GET MORE SLEEP

When you sleep, your body produces melatonin, and this hormone helps to kill H. Pylori – a common cause of gastritis. Sleep can also lower stress, and help to reduce gut inflammation.

And guess what? Your gut produces about 400-times melatonin than your pineal gland where most people assume this important hormone is predominately manufactured.

So when you get good sleep, at least 8 hours a night, harmful bacteria are less likely to cause gastritis.

Your immune system is also boosted overall, and thousands of important “rest and repair” actions take place as you dream.

REMOVE GASTRITIS CAUSING MEDICINES

As we have detailed, NSAIDs, antacids, PPIs and other medicines can cause or worsen gastritis. If you are able, replace these medicines with more natural alternatives to treating the illnesses they were meant to address.
